Originally from Detroit, Stephan grew up as a Lions fan which has now led him on a lifetime journey to find better football. He now lives in the greater Houston area and is one of the top journalists covering the XFL. Stephan founded XFL Newsroom in May 2018 when Vince McMahon first announced the league would be returning. Since then, he has built XFL Newsroom into the largest XFL news platform on the internet.
Christian Paolantonio is a 20 year old college student who began writing for the XFL Newsroom in February 2020. Before joining the Newsroom, Christian was an inaugural season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Vipers. His love for the game began at a young very young age when he was only five years old and already tossing the pigskin with his father in the backyard.
As a St. Louis native, Gavin loves everything about the 314, especially the local sports teams—the Cardinals, Battlehawks, and Blues. Since the Rams left for LA, he’s been thrilled to see the Battlehawks bring football back to St. Louis. With passions for writing and football, Gavin makes the best of both worlds in his hobby as a sports writer.
Jake is the host of the St. Louis BattleCast and writer for XFL Newsroom at only 16 years of age. He started covering the St. Louis BattleHawks on Instagram before transitioning to full-time XFL analyst. His first XFL event was Johnathan Hayes’s introductory press conference in 2019 where he also met Commissioner Oliver Luck. He also attended the Summer Showcase in Saint Louis. Those events officially solidified that he’d be an XFL writer.
Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for football. Growing up as a Vikings fan, I always loved watching the sport, and was fully invested in the XFL’s 2020 season. Now that the league is back, I’m even more excited to cover the league as a writer, for the love of football!
A Hoosier since birth, Zach has always been involved with the world of football growing up a diehard fan of the one and only Chicago Bears. In 2019, he created the Gridiron Gallery podcast to bring his passion and drive for the game online.
