Elijah Hamilton played for the St. Louis Battlehawks during the 2023 XFL season. St. Louis featured a solid defense, as we’ve seen quite a few of its members head to the NFL.
Hamilton was one of those pieces, playing in eight games for the Battlehawks – starting in three of them. He finished the season with 13 total tackles.
For Elijah, the NFL is nothing new. He’s spent time with the Miami Dolphins, and also had a short stint with Green Bay a year ago. With more professional experience under his belt in the XFL, the Packers have opted to bring him back with one preseason game left.
Hamilton and Hill are the 58th and 59th XFL players to sign an NFL contract. Due to the national platform that the XFL provided Hamilton and Hill with, they now have an opportunity to pursue their NFL dreams with the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
