XFL To Use Cashman Field For Vegas Vipers

BREAKING: XFL To Use Cashman Field For Vegas Vipers

Believe it or not, the Vegas Vipers finally have a home. The XFL has struck a deal with Cashman Field to use the facility for the 2023 season.

On top of that, it has been revealed that the Vipers will have their first home game on February 25th. If all goes according to plan, that will be in week two of the XFL season.

Speaking of schedules, the XFL is reportedly releasing their official schedule later today. This makes sense, considering the Vegas situation has finally been sorted out. The schedule holdup was frustrating to some, but the XFL had their hands tied until they found a home for the Vegas Vipers.

Cashman Field is certainly an interesting choice. At this point, the XFL simply needed to find a stadium. Cashman only sits about 10,000 people, as the venue has stands around only half of the field. According to reports, the XFL is aiming for at least 8,000 fans in the stands per game.

Since time is running out leading up to the XFL’s kickoff, there likely won’t be too many renovations done to the stadium beforehand. That being said, if they can get some extra bleachers up, the XFL might attract more people. Time will tell.

At the end of the day, it is great news that the Vegas Vipers finally have a home. The team itself is poised to be very dangerous, led by Rod Woodson and his excellent group of players. Kickoff can’t come soon enough.
