It’s been a long journey for the XFL and their 2023 return. After many months, and many announcements, one of the last open questions looks to be answered soon.
Earlier tonight we reported that the XFL will finally be revealing their 2023 season schedule tomorrow (1/5), but it seems like that may not be all. We’re also hearing that Cashman Field will named as the home for the Vegas Vipers.
Cashman Field will serve as the #Vipers' home field for the 2023 #XFL season, per source.
The stadium, opened in 1983 and originally designed for minor league baseball, was renovated in 2019 to better suit professional soccer. It has a max capacity of 12,500 people.

It would make sense that the league would announce the Vipers Stadium, as this seems to be the main reason for the delay in schedule.
It’s been months since the XFL announced all of its cities, and at the time they also announced the rest of the home venues. After many months of working towards getting the ink dry, the league will soon make it official.
Cashman Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It is primarily used for soccer as the home field of Las Vegas Lights FC of the USL Championship. Originally built as a baseball stadium, it was the home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Stars/51s Minor League Baseball team before being renovated for soccer.
The venue has a max capacity of 12,500 people, which is respectable. Even more importantly, it should be easy for the XFL to fill.
