Going into the new year we’ve been hearing more and more from the XFL. Back in November the league broke their silence when their announced their first round of hires under the new ownership group.
From then, they’ve slowly been gearing up towards their return. We’ve seen the XFL 2023 timelines revealed, another set of hires and even The Rock stating that broadcast partners and teams were coming in early 2022.
Well, today… we have some more. Dany Garcia took to her favorite social media platform to drop another bombshell.
After Garcia revealed the XFL return timelines we knew that the league would be starting training camp in January 2023. Well, now it seems we have a date. Her latest Instagram post states that the XFL will be “On the field in 365 days” with “Training Camp 2023” below.
Although there’s still a lot to learn about the return of the XFL, it seems that training camp will be starting on or around January 3rd.
Needless to say, we’re just now getting into the real announcements. Looking back at the leadup to the 2020 season, this is when we first started learning the coaches, draft details, players, etc. So, you can expect that 2020 will be full of XFL news from beginning to end.
XFL Newsroom staffer Jake Henry was first on the scene with the news, he also noticed another small tidbit. Garcia posted another picture, which seems to show off an new XFL hat. Does that mean the new XFL shop is coming soon? Well, we sure hope so!
Side note, is that a new #XFL hat? pic.twitter.com/SIZnbnGkKU
