ESPN 2 Set to Air XFL Draft Special Tuesday Night

The XFL started out the year slow, but with the season quickly appraching everything is starting to come together. Capping off October, the leage officially revealed the team names and logos for their 2023 return. Now, all eyes are on the XFL Draft.

The XFL Draft events are set to kickoff Tuesday, November 15, at 11 am PT/2 pm ET with a live-streamed Quarterback Selection Show, hosted by ESPN’s Stormy Buonantony. During the show, XFL Head Coaches will officially announce their team’s quarterbacks.

Then, each team will begin selecting the rest of their rosters on November 16th and 17th.

At the time of publication the draft order has not been released. The good news is, you won’t have to wait long. The XFL plans to drop all the details on the 14th.

Many have asked if the XFL plans to televise the draft, and the short answer is no. But, it looks like they may have one trick up their sleeve. Earlier today, XFL fan JakeHenry discovered a new TV listing showing “Drive to the XFL Draft” which is set to air Tuesday night at 9pm CT/10pm ET on ESPN 2.

We had heard rumblings that ESPN would be airing some kind of coverage, but now we have confirmation.

Sources close to the league also tell us to expect more coverage of the draft during the two-day event across the ESPN family of channels.
