Guardians DB/S, Dravon Askew-Henry, Signs With New York Giants

Yesterday XFL players became eligible to sign a contract with the NFL (or any other league) due to the season being suspended because of the coronavirus.

First we saw PJ Walker sign with the Carolina Panthers, Deatrick Nichols sign with the New Orleans Saints and Jordan Ta’amu joined the Kansas City Chiefs.

Just now, we’re learning that New York Guardians CB/Safety, Dravon Askew-Henry, has agreed to a deal with the New York Giants.

This once again proves that the XFL is a viable option for players looking to advance their careers. It’s already been confirmed that the league will return for a 2021 season. We expect more players to get signed over the next couple days, we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
