The San Antonio Brahmas added two more players to the roster last week. WR C.J. Windham and OL Joe Krall were both acquired, joining the team from the IFL’s ranks. Both athletes participated in the IFL-XFL Combine held last month.
WR C.J. Windham
C.J. Windham played for Middle Tennessee State throughout his entire college career. Windham saw six years of action with the team, posting 1,329 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns during his tenure there.
The @XFLBrahmas have made a couple of moves, acquiring the rights to:

In his senior season, C.J. Windham made an impact. As a team captain, he started in eight of 12 games for the school, with 236 receiving yards and two touchdowns to his name.
Windham was then signed by the Quad City Steamwheelers of the Indoor Football League. He had a solid 2023 season, racking up 419 yards and 11 touchdowns during the year.
Quad City’s DPP Ryan Michael had this to say about Windham’s abilities:
“C.J. comes into camp with 6 years of NCAA D1 experience. He made play, after play, after play at MTSU. What stood out to me was his ability to make plays as both a blocker and as a receiver. He’s not afraid to fight in the trenches and as a receiver, his burst off the line of scrimmage, internal sense of down and distance, leaping ability and soft hands make him a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to see what he brings to camp.”
The San Antonio Brahmas need an offensive spark, struggling to score throughout large portions of the 2023 XFL season. Windham provides the team with the playmaking that they need.
OL Joe Krall
Joe Krall is also an IFL alumni, having played with the Quad City Steamwheelers for the past two seasons. Krall will look to help bolster the San Antonio Brahmas offensive line in 2024.

Joe Krall spent his college days at Monmouth University, and earned first team All-American honors from the AFCA during his senior season.
Final Thoughts
After a 3-7 record during the 2023 XFL season, the San Antonio Brahmas will hope to find a way to move the needle ahead of their 2024 campaign.
