In his message he says “Our XFL will soon humbly take the fields in stadiums across our country”.
This sentence alone seems to confirm the questions around if the XFL would be using a hub city in 2023.
It has been reported that XFL leadership had been considering a central location, but since then have shifted towards bringing cities to their home markets.
As for what the news is going to be, it’s likely that we hear news around the leagues broadcast partners. It’s been rumored that the league will be working with ABC/ESPN with ESPN+ potentially being a major factor. We’ve also heard rumors that Disney may be interested in investing in the XFL.
As for cities, we’ve been able to confirm Dallas, Orlando, San Antonio and Seattle. It also looks like the XFL may be making a play to return to Las Vegas, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see them end up in St. Louis.
For everyone that has been patient, it’s finally paying off. We’ve now learned all of the coaches, the return of the Summer showcase and a slew of hires. The XFL is really starting to ramp up towards their 2023 return, and we’ll keep you posted as the news drops.
