It has been a monumental day for the XFL, as they officially announced their new team names and logos today. Eight new identities will be hitting the field in February of 2023. Before teams can accomplish that goal, however, the XFL draft has to take place.
We finally have more clarity on the XFL draft, and what the plans are for the event in November. According to ESPN’s latest report, the draft will be held on November 16th and 17th:
According to @ESPN's latest article on the @XFL2023's logo and name releases, the XFL will host it's draft on Nov. 16-17 at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada. Two quarterbacks will be assigned to each #XFL franchise the day before, on the 15th. Things are ramping up for the XFL! pic.twitter.com/ZaZEQtHkw8

The draft will take place at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada. Expect some type of live event to coincide with the draft, whether it’s streamed on ESPN itself, or on the XFL’s website and social media channels.
On top of that, two quarterbacks will be designated to each franchise the day before, on the 15th. This makes sense, since Jordan Palmer has been diligently working with multiple QB’s to prepare them for XFL gameplay.
As more news makes itself known about the draft and its details, we will make sure to get them to you as efficiently as possible.
The wait is finally over! Meet your eight #XFL2023 teams…
