It appears that the XFL is going to have a major announcement this Wednesday at Noon ET.
At least, that is what their website is implying.
Discovered by avid XFL fans on social media late Monday night, a new countdown timer has been added to the homepage of XFL.com with the tagline “Every dream has its day one”. Along with the timer, there is also an email registration form for users to receive updates from the league as seen below. No other links or drop down menus are present, and this may suggest that an updated website format is also coming.
Along with this, the league’s social accounts have also removed all profile images of the former XFL logo though the website still has said logo on it. This has lead to speculation on social media as to whether the league might be changing the design of its main league logo. Some such speculation has been fueled by social media posts from league owners Dany Garcia and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
