I guess Taylor Heinicke simply wants an article written about him every week over here at the XFL Newsroom, because he just keeps winning. It doesn’t stop! The Washington Football Team is now 6-6, with their latest victory in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Heinicke is a nuclear weapon.. XFL to the starter on a team that is on a 4 game win streak and in the playoffs right now, BEAST.

Heinicke had another efficient day through the air, despite throwing a late interception that gave the Raiders a lead. With two minutes left, Taylor led his team down the field, which led to the go ahead field goal from Brian Johnson.

Taylor Heinicke’s ability to find the open receiver, while under pressure, has made him into an impressive weapon for an offense. On this crucial throw with a minute left, he backs up in the pocket, buying him time to find Adam Humphries who makes the grab:
BIG first down for Humphries

He finished the day with a statline of: 23/30, 196yds, 2 TD, 1 INT | 101.5 QBR – not bad for a quarterback who was a backup in the XFL just last year.

Don’t look now, but Heinicke has now defeated Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, and Derek Carr in the last four weeks.

Yeah, I’d be in that mood too if I won four straight games against elite NFL quarterbacks. Keep doing you, Taylor. You’re an inspiration to us all.
