The Spring League Generals Offensive Linemen Signed by Minnesota Vikings

Week two of The Spring League is only halfway through, but we have some news to report. The first game of tonight’s doubleheader featured the Sea Lions taking on the Generals. Last week the Generals made the news when they announced that they had signed former Super Bowl champion linebacker Brandon Marshall. Today, the team has lost a teammate.

The Spring League has confirmed that Evin Ksiezarczyk has signed with the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL. Originally an undrafted signee by the Falcons in 2020, will sign with the Vikings after taking part in a three-day tryout. He was let go by Atlanta last year during roster cuts after training camp.

Ksiezarczyk is currently on the Generals roster, but with this signing will miss the rest of the season. We saw this right before the first week kicked off, when Blues quarterback Eric Dungey was signed by the Bengals after a minicamp appearance.

At the moment the Generals are undefeated, but we’re also only one game into the season. This is just another example of what The Spring League was created to do. The idea is for players to have another opportunity to showcase their skills to recruiters from the NFL, CFL and even XFL when it makes a return.

We expect to see more TSL guys make the transition during and after the ongoing 2021 season. Add in the television exposure and The Spring League is slowly becoming a top spot for guys to get another look.
