Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong Appear on AEW’s Double or Nothing PPV

As you may know, Shahid and Tony Khan, co-owners of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars are also the owners of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The Jaguars have been making waves this year with Urban Meyer coming on as head coach and the upcoming emergence of the #1 draft pick Trevor Lawrence. Not to mention, Tim Tebow making his return to the NFL, this time at tight end for the first time in his career.

Tonight, Khan’s AEW was holding their annual Double or Nothing PPV event, which was the first to house fans in over a year. The event took place at Daily’s Palace, but the main event was going to be housed out of TIAA Bank Field; home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. This would be AEW’s second Stadium Stampede match, which if you was the first you knew that there would be a lot of surprises tonight.

One that not many would have seen coming, was an appearance by Jaguars coaches Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong. During the main event, Chris Jericho was battling MJF, which led them to the coaches office.

The interaction is comical, but completely unexpected. During the short cameo, Meyer hands Jericho a laptop to be used in the match. As the duo fought their way out of the room, the Coach even dropped a few expletive’s.

The NFL season is still a few months out, and there’s going to be a lot of eyes on the Jacksonville Jaguars this year. Due to this match and the dual business interests of the owners, the team may catch a few extra viewers along the way.
