The Spring League Reveals Rosters For South Division Teams

The Spring League Week Five South Division Transactions

Week 5 is already in the book for the leagues North Division, with the South Division kicking off at 3pm ET on FOX later today. With the games right around the corner, it was only natural for The Spring League to announce this weeks transactions.

Blues

The Blues are coming off a crucial win last week against the Sea Lions, and with two weeks to go their continuing to make adjustments.

Jumping on board this week is kicker Redford Jones, defensive tackle Jah’Sheem Martin, offensive linemen Dante Reynolds, linebacker Aaron Donalson and wide receiver Raphael Leonard.

Exiting the team this week is running back Donate Strickland and linebacker Praise Martin-Oguike who is headed to the CFL. Kicker Jonathan Barnes and defensive tackle will be out for the season due to injury.

Generals

This season we’ve seen two versions of the Generals. One of which is dominate and the other which cannot seem to make a play happen. This week they look to get back on the winning side by making a dew additions.

Joining Mallet and company this week is linebacker D’Darrin Primes, linebacker Raheem Bramwell, linebacker Josh Banderas and wide receiver Floyd Allen.

With the addition of three linebackers, it was expected to see some go. Leaving the Generals this week is linebacker Bailey Laolagi, linebacker Blair Brown and wide receiver Devin Gray who is on his way to the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.

Sea Lions

After a tough loss last week, the Sea Lions are looking to rebound. Coming over to the team is cornerback Montre Gregory, defensive end Dame Ndiaye and offensive tackle Anthony Morris.

Defensive end Jonathan Kongbo is on his way out, but is moving on to the CFL. Due to injury tight end Erik Swoope will be out for the last two weeks.

Jousters

Rounding out the transactions this week is the Jousters. Coming over is wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow and running back Jon Hilliman.

Wide Receiver Jonathan Johnson will be exiting the season early, but will also be headed up-north to the CFL.

 

This week we saw quite a few guys make the move to the CFL and NFL, which is exactly what this league was designed for. We still have two games until week 5 is wrapped up, then it leaves us with one week until the Mega Bowl.
