According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Dianna Russini has signed a new deal with ESPN which see her picking up XFL duties. Recently we saw former Colts Punter and WWE personality Pat McAfee sign with
ESPN, and many have rumored the XFL will be part of that deal.
Russini has also been pegged to join the second late-night coverage of ESPN’s Monday Night Football doubleheader. As part of her new deal, Russini will continue to do all her reporting, hosting, etc. on the NFL. There’s not many details on what exactly those XFL duties will be, but it’s great to hear more news as we get closer to February 8th.
