Early last month The Rock made the sports world stand still when the news came out that he, along with Dany Garcia and RedBird Capital, had purchased the XFL. The Rock continues to influence the world as ‘jabroni’ has finally been added as an official word in the dictionary.
The Great One’s term of ‘endearment’ used to describe his opponents has been added to the dictionary; the entry is as follows:

The Rock is responsible for popularizing the term “smackdown” as well. It not only became the name of one of WWE’s flagship television shows but it is also recognized as an official word in the dictionary.
Shortly after the news broke that Jabroni would be added to the Dictionary, he took to Twitter to set the record straight. Although, The Rock popularized the phrase ‘jabroni’ he credits The Iron Sheik (and rightfully so) for creating the term and making famous in wrestling locker rooms worldwide.

Although this isn’t XFL related, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson now holds the key to their future. The press that The Rock can generate can be nothing but a good thing for the XFL when it attempts to get off the ground for the third time.
