[UPDATE] XFL2k.com has spoken with Coach Pimmel of the St. Louis Stampede. He has let us know that this has been a complete misunderstanding and Courtel has not been in contact with any other organizations at this time.
The official Facebook page of the National Gridiron Leage’s Saint Louis Stampede posted that recent DT recruit, Courtel Jenkins, who originally signed with The Stampede was invited to join a paid training camp with the XFL.
This is the first news of any players joining the XFL, so I assume we should be seeing a lot more of these announcements in the near future. We may not make announcements on all, but seeing as this is the first we felt is was necessary to do so.
Courtel played for both University of Miami and the University of Houston before he played in the CFL for the B.C. Lions.
