Former New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is holding an hour long press conference August 27th and nobody really know what it’s about. The folks over at 96.9 The Game think it may have something to do with the XFL.
The press conference is invite only, so it’s going to be some major announcement. The guys at In The Zone think that it may have something to do with the upcoming league. They don’t think it will be in a playing role, and I tend to agree. They are speculating that it will be in a on air or ambassador type role.
At the press conference, Gronkowski will “unveil his next chapter,” according to a press release. He’ll make an announcement August 27th at 9:30 a.m. in New York City, and will take questions at 10:15. For those keeping score at home, that’s a 45-minute announcement from the surefire Hall of Famer.
With Gronkowski being interested in so many different areas – wrestling, acting, partying, being Gronk – it’s hard to rule anything out for his upcoming career announcement.
