Last week we spoke about June Jones potentially poaching coaches during his trip to the Grey Cup. One of the names that was brought up was Ticats Special Teams coordinator, Jeff Reinebold. It has since been reported that Reinebold has re-signed with the Ticats.
We are now learning via Mark Berman that the Houston Roughnecks have hired former Oilers LB, Robert Lyles to coach the Defensive Line and Special Teams.

Lyles is a formerly served as linebacker for the Houston Oilers and for the Atlanta Falcons. Lyles later served as a head coach in Arena Football League, coaching the Los Angeles Avengers in 2001 and the Georgia Force in 2002. Jones and Lyles also have history together in the CFL. Jones hired Lyles as LB coach in 2018 when he was leading the Ticats.
