A while back reported that Topps was set to be the XFL trading card partner, with sets expected to be released in retail sometime in March. Well, today we were surprised to find that Topps had just released a limited run set for the league.
According to the listing on Topps.com it states
TOPPS NOW celebrates the greatest moments… as they happen! Only available at Topps.com. Print runs for every card are released in the XFL TOPPS NOW Archive.

The 7-card set retails for $44.99 (plus tax), and is only on sale for the next week. A little steep, but if you’re a collector or XFL super-fan this is right up your alley. It looks as if we can expect limited run sets based on the biggest plays of each week this season.
