Oliver Luck to headline NJCAA’s its first-ever Leadership Institute

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced its first-ever Leadership Institute – a two-day program designed to provide leadership opportunities and association-wide training for collegiate athletic administrators, coaches, and staff.

When: Monday, April 1 – Tuesday, April 2

Where: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Richmond – Midlothian  |  Richmond, VA

The two-day event will provide insight into the NJCAA through various fundamental training sessions administered by leaders in two-year college athletics along with guest speakers from around the country. Individual breakout sessions include:

  • Understanding the Process and Trends
  • Identity Matters
  • All in for the NJCAA
  • Focusing on the Student-Athlete
  • Developing Resources
  • Partners of the NJCAA
  • NJCAA Leadership in the Making
  • The Educational Aspect
  • Remaining Compliant

Along with various leaders from around the country, Oliver Luck, former West Virginia Director of Athletics and current CEO and Commissioner of the XFL, will serve as the keynote speaker. Luck’s past experience in collegiate athletics includes time served in an executive role with the NCAA and as a former student-athlete with West Virginia.
