As we reported last week XFL players became eligible to sign with the NFL starting earlier today at 8am EST. One of the big names that was expected to go was Houston Roughnecks QB, PJ Walker. Walker became the first XFL quarterback to throw for 1,000 yards, totaling 1,338 yards and 15 touchdowns over five games.
Well, PJ Walker has found a new home in the Carolina Panthers. The announcement was made official via a tweet from the XFL.
The Panthers got a good one.

The Houston Roughnecks later chimed in thanking PJ for his time with the franchise.

We expect many more names to join the NFL and possibly the CFL over the next few days. We’ll keep you posted as more news comes out.
