Since the XFL tickets have been released people have wondered how many seats have been sold. The tickets are seemingly selling well league-wide, but some franchises are out-performing the others. Keep in mind, initially the league is only selling tickets in the lower bowl on a majority of their stadiums.
According to a NBC Sports, Seattle is currently leading the XFL in season ticket sales, in some cases by a wide margin. It states that since the Seahawks lost to the Packers in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs Dragons tickets have seen a spike in sales. 20,000 people are projected to be in attendance at Seattle’s first home game on Feb 15.
Seattle has a sports fan-base like no other. Earlier this year when The Dragons opened up their mini camp, over 1,000 fans showed up. We’re looking forward to seeing how attendance looks across the league when everything kicks off in a couple weeks. One thing is for sure, we expect attendance to be larger in this version of the XFL than the original and the AAF. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
