St. Louis BattleHawks TE Connor Davis Signs with the New York Jets

Ever since the XFL was forced to suspend their season just five games in due to the coronavirus, we’ve seen many players make the next step in their career. Now, we have another name to add to that list. The New York Jets have just announced that they have signed former St. Louis BattleHawks TE Connor Davis .

The 6’8″, 260-pounder also played for the Birmingham Iron in the Alliance of American Football (AAF). A Stony Brook product, Davis was invited to the New York Giants rookie mini-camp in 2018 but was never offered a contract. He played in 41 collegiate games and totaled 6 catches for 41 yards. Davis took snaps at TE, OT and DE for the Seawolves.

Connor Davis joined the BattleHawks from Team 9 after Cole Hunt was injured during the teams opening weekend match-up against the Dallas Renegades.

This just another name of many that have made the move since the XFL season ended. With the NFL season approaching we expect to see many more former XFL names getting called up. You can stay up to date with all the transactions with our XFL to NFL Player Tracker.
