Last week the XFL named the eighth and final head coach, and just a day later went on an announcement spree naming new hires for Dallas, New York, St. Louis, Seattle and Tampa Bay.
Today we are learning that Tony Softli will be joining the league as well. According to FootballScoop.com, Softli will be coming in as Director of Player Personnel for XFL Seattle.
Softli played football at Washington and has spent his career working in a number of roles in college and the pros. He spent 11 years working in Scouting and Personnel for the Carolina Panthers, and then spent four seasons as the VP of Player Personnel for the St. Louis Rams.
In 2013, Softli took a job as Director of College Scouting for the NFLPA, and most recently he was the director of scouting for the now defunct Alliance of American Football.
