XFL Co-Owner Dany Garcia Teases News with NDA Post on Instagram

It’s been a little over two months since we’ve heard from the XFL in official capacity. March 10th the CFL and XFL both announced that they were exploring opportunities to partner together. At the time, CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie stated that the two leagues were essentially talking about talking.

Since then there has been a lot of debate online on how a potential partnership could work out. Additionally, fans have been getting antsy with the lack of news from either league. On the CFL side, fans are wondering if they will make their August 5th target. For the XFL, fans are wondering what the plan is.

When the XFL announced their plans to pursue talks with the CFL, they also placed their 2022 season on hold until the discussions were complete. Considering we’re nearly halfway through 2021, it’s looking more and more likely that the XFL may be looking at a 2023 return.

Well, we may have some news on the way. Yesterday, XFL co-owner Dany Garcia took to instagram to post a teaser.

When your working on innovation for @XFL BUT the NDA is so DEEP the only thing you can show is the art in the women’s bathroom

We’ve seen this in the past from Garcia. In the leadup to the CFL news, she was known to cryptically post pictures of her mug, only for the mug to be revealed as a CFL mug in the end.

Does this mean that news is coming, by no means. But, it would fit the previous profile. At minimum, we do know that Garcia is still hard at work on the XFL, we just don’t know what it is… yet.
