Yesterday we reported that the XFL had drew huge numbers for their debut broadcast on ABC. Today we learned that it was very similar for the later game on FOX. Just now, we’re learning that the success continued on Sunday. According John Ourand of Sports Business Journal, the league was able to pull in averaged 2,495,000 viewers, with St. Louis pulling in a 7.4 rating.
ESPN's two XFL games over the weekend averaged 2.9 million viewers.

This is great news for the league, people are interested in this new brand of football. The league is hoping to continue this success, and we’re hoping they do. Overall, fans seemed very impressed with what they saw in the opening weekend. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
