NFL Alerts Teams They Are Working With XFL to Start Signing Players

XFL Players Can Sign With NFL Teams Starting March 23rd

Earlier this week we reported that the NFL had alerted their teams that they were working with the XFL to create a plan to allow them to start signing players now that the season has officially been cancelled. We’re now learning that the starting Monday, March 23rd at 8am that NFL franchises will officially be able to sign XFL players.

It was just earlier that we learned that the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks had contacted the Houston Roughnecks in regards to PJ Walker. Starting this Monday at 8am, players that were signed to a XFL contract for the 2020 season are officially able to sign with the NFL or any other league. We expect to see a lot of the top names in the league to go fast, similar to what happened when the AAF folded.

The good news for XFL fans, the XFL will be back next season. The only reason players are able to sign now is because the league officially announced the seas was cancelled due to the coronavirus. We’ll keep you posted as news comes out on which players will be headed to the NFL.

Which players do you think will make the jump? Which XFL players are you going to miss the most? Let us know down in the comments below or join the conversation on Discord.
