It’s that time of year to give thanks and thanks we are giving. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the XFL on social media, but today the league came out to with everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Since the league has changed ownership, we’ve only seen the XFL account go live a handful of times. It was just earlier this week that Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and XFL President Jeffrey Pollack sent a letter to fans thanking them for their support through the transition.
That wasn’t all though… XFL co-owner Dany Garcia took to Twitter earlier to tease something special at midnight, eluding to a Black Friday surprise for XFL fans.

As promised, the XFL delivered. Shortly before midnight eastern, the league removed the “All Sales Are Final” warning from their web store. Then, right on time we were treated with brand new XFL merchandise… and 40% off select team merch… can I just say…. SIGN ME UP!
Shortly after the website was updated Dany Garcia once again took to Twitter to drop a quick video message to the XFL fans. In the message she mentions the new hat additions as being from the “Owners Locker”. She said that ever since she wore this hat in a video fans have been asking where to get one, and now you can!

Just earlier today the league section in the XFL web store was completely bare. As of the time of this publication we’ve seen an updated XFL logo hat ($30 USD) and a brand new “For The Love Of Football” XFL T-shirt ($25 USD). Although this may not be as interesting to everyone, the hat provider had changed to New Era with this latest drop.
Hopefully everyone had a great Thanksgiving considering the circumstances in the world right now. But… if you have a loved one that’s an XFL fan, this may be the perfect gift for him or her this Christmas. We’ll keep you updated is the XFL adds new merchandise throughout the day.
