Houston has been rumored as the location for quite some time. Mainly in part to how much the league has worked with the city so far; not to mention Commissioner Luck’s tie. As a local Houstonian, I’m super excited to see the league settle on Houston.
TDECU stadium, as you know, is the home of the Houston Roughnecks and is on the University of Houston campus. The facility holds roughly 40,000 people, which seems to be a perfect goal for the league to aim for in its inaugural championship.
