Today XFL single game tickets went on sale to the general public. Prior to today you would have either needed to purchase season tickets, or get in on the early access sale the league held earlier this week.
Now that tickets are publicly available we can get a better idea of how ticket sales are going for the league. And, at first glance, they seem to be selling like hot cakes. Initially most of the stadiums are selling lower bowl seats only. As the seats sell out the league will open more sections as needed. That being said, the venues that have started selling tickets are selling great.
According to Ticketmaster, Houston @ New York is already sold out — and looking at the seat maps, the rest of the games aren’t far off. The same goes for both DC and Tampa Bay.
UPDATE: It seems there may have just been a technical issue earlier as now it is showing available for ticket to Houston @ New York. When attempting to view the page earlier it displayed the following message.
Here’s a look at the open seating for the Guardians opening game, which is similar to the rest other then the sellout mentioned above. The blue dots represent the available seats.
We have heard that ticket sales in St. Louis have been extraordinary so far, but at the time of writing they still haven’t been opened to the public. We will update this post throughout the day to report on ticket sales across the league as they become available.
If you plan on purchasing tickets you can head over to XFL.com, get them while they’re hot!
