XFL to offer premium sideline seating

Elevate Sports Ventures chief executive Al Guido spoke at the VenuesNow Conference in New York yesterday — during which he revealed some interesting plans for the XFL fan experience.

Guido stated that the XFL is considering putting several premium seats on the sidelines to give fans a whole new perspective on the game.

It was not revealed how much these tickets would cost, where exactly on the field they would be located or if this will be available at all of the home stadiums. He reiterated that fans would be safe in those seats.

Elevate Sports Ventures is a joint venture of Ticketmaster, Live Nation, the San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, and the Oakview Group.

Earlier this year we reported that the XFL signed a two year deal with Elevate to handle selling season tickets and premium seats for the upcoming 2020 XFL season.

It sounds as this may be a test run for things to come in the NFL. Guido, who is also the President of the 49ers stated that is this goes well the NFL may start offering the same types of packages.
