It feels like it has been ages since the last batch of XFL News. But thanks to Ben Fischer the day has finally arrived, we finally have a small look behind the scenes. In a recent article, he has released some news that XFL fans will likely enjoy. But they will also ask, “what’s a Chief Football Officer?”
According to Ben Fischer of Sports Business Daily, the Chief Football Officer or CFO is, “similar to a commissioner, but with a narrower portfolio and less autonomy…”

Also, former execs from the Browns and Bills are involved in reconstituting the league under @TheRock's new ownership group.

He is also reporting that they have been looking for around two months now, and there was no indication as to how far they are in the search process. Joe Becher of CAA Sports is leading the search for CFO.
Alec Scheiner and Russ Brandon are believed to be involved as advisors for RedBird Capital. Russ Brandon and Alec Scheiner are both former NFL executives.
He also revealed that Jordan Schlachter, the Chief Marketing/Commercial Officer of XFL 2020 has returned to the league.
